About Me
Born and raised in California, Elena has achieved her BFA in Drama at NYU with a minor in Business of Entertainment, Media, and Technology. During her time at NYU, she studied at the Atlantic Acting School and Kevin Kuhlke’s International Theatre Workshop in Amsterdam.
As a NYC based actor, dancer, and creative who was raised in a multi-lingual and multi-cultural home, Elena aspires to explore all facets of a character through a lens of empathy.
She’s drawn to stories that explore human connections and their impact of each other’s lives, humor found in the most unfortunate and unexpected moments in life, and extreme circumstances that pushes people to the breaking point.
At an early age the desire to tell stories was seen when she would read books to her little brother despite the fact that she herself could not yet read.
Her love for dress up and playing pretend was strong. So strong that it shaped how she viewed the world- often outweighing logic and filling in the gaps when she didn’t understand something.
Before she even knew that acting was a job and that what she saw on TV wasn’t real, she knew performing was all she wanted to do for the rest of her life.
